With a combination of powerful suction, advanced filtration, and a user-friendly design, this vacuum stands out in a crowded marketplace. As a senior product reviewer with over 15 years of hands-on testing experience, I have evaluated this model under various conditions to provide you with an in-depth analysis of its performance, features, and overall value.
At first glance, the Shark Navigator NV352 impresses with its sleek lavender finish, giving it a modern aesthetic that fits well in any home. However, its appeal goes beyond looks. This vacuum features a powerful 10-amp motor that delivers strong suction for both carpets and hard floors. The Lift-Away technology allows you to detach the canister for portable cleaning, making it easier to reach tight spaces such as stairs, upholstery, and even your car.
One of the standout features of the Shark Navigator NV352 is its HEPA filtration system, which captures 99.9% of dust and allergens, making it an excellent choice for allergy sufferers. The vacuum also includes a washable foam and felt filter, which helps maintain optimal performance over time. This combination of filtration and suction power ensures that your home remains clean and free from harmful particles.
In terms of usability, the NV352 is equipped with a 25-foot power cord, allowing for a generous cleaning radius without the need to frequently switch outlets. The vacuum's lightweight design, at just 12.5 pounds, enhances maneuverability, making it easy to carry from room to room. Furthermore, the vacuum comes with several attachments, including a dusting brush, crevice tool, and pet power brush, which enhance its versatility for various cleaning tasks.
Real-world testing reveals that the Shark Navigator NV352 excels in cleaning performance. On carpets, it effectively lifts embedded dirt and pet hair, while on hard floors, it glides smoothly without scratching surfaces. Users have reported satisfaction with its ability to transition between different floor types seamlessly. However, some users have noted that the vacuum can be somewhat noisy during operation, which is a common trait among upright vacuums.
When comparing the Shark Navigator NV352 to similar models, such as the Bissell CleanView and the Hoover WindTunnel, it becomes evident that the NV352 offers superior filtration and lift-away functionality. While the Bissell CleanView is often praised for its affordability, it lacks the HEPA filter that is crucial for allergy sufferers. The Hoover WindTunnel, on the other hand, provides strong suction but does not offer the same level of versatility as the Shark Navigator.
