Collaborating to Synchronize Accurate Data
Leading retailers including, Army and Air Force Exchange Service, Associated Food Stores, McLane, SUPERVALU, Wakefern, Wal-Mart and Wegmans, are collaborating to execute a supplier adoption campaign focused on specific departments and categories.

Over the next few months, 1SYNC will be working with these retailers to align and focus efforts on engaging suppliers within specific departments and categories including Dry Grocery, Frozen Foods, Health & Beauty, General Merchandise, Packaged Fresh Foods, and Dairy. The first department that we will rollout to will be Dry Grocery.

The Global Data Synchronization Network® (GDSN) has over 140 registered retailers, wholesalers, and distributors that are in various stages of their data synchronization initiative today. As a supplier, you only need to join one GDSN-certified Data Pool in order to synchronize with all of them.

Data synchronization is a top priority at Wal-Mart. Many of the key strategic initiatives with our suppliers, such as Radio Frequency Identification and Advanced Shipment Notification, are enabled with accurate item data synchronization via the Global Data synchronization Network (GDSN).
