GDSN Package Measurement Rules
The GDSN Package Measurement Rules (part of the Global Data Synchronization Network [GDSN] suite of standards) were developed to help increase dimensional data accuracy - i.e., accurate package measurements. Detailed information and documentation relating to the following can be found here.

• GDSN Package Measurement Rules - GS1 Standards Document
  This document helps understand the unambiguous definition of nominal package measurement attributes and provides a repeatable process to determine measurements for a given product package when measured by different individuals.
  Section 6 of this document provides detailed information on Standard Tolerances for Data Accuracy (hard packaging)

• GDSN Standard Package Measurement Tolerances - Best Practice Guideline (hard packaging)
  This guideline shares a recommended set of best practices and guidelines around the use of standard tolerances contained within Section 6 of the GS1 Standards Document.

• GS1 US Softlines Measurement Guidelines
  This document provides guidelines for the measurement of items within the sector known as "Softlines" The softlines sector includes, but is not limited to, the following product categories: Apparel, Footwear, Bed and Bath, Window Treatments, Jewelry, Accessories (wallets, belts, handbags etc.), Kitchen and Sporting Goods.

JBP Data Quality Framework
GS1, along with AIM, CIES, ECR Europe, FMI, GCI and GMA have developed a best practice framework for global data quality and a recommendation for the GDSN. The Data Quality Framework incorporates data quality management system, assessment and inspection procedures.
